Day 7 -  continues some more.

We see sea birds down by the seashore.

  • We drive through the Bakkagerði metroplex to the seabird colony just North of town.
  • Iceland has sagas, vistas and with very few exceptions, flush toilets with wash basins. The water is generally geothermally heated and therefore hot as the earth's core.
  • Atlantic Puffin known to us as Lundi.
  • Yes another Lundi but this one has one more fish in it's mouth.
  • Lundi are crevice nesters.
  • Kittiwakes, because they do not have orange feet or bills stuffed with small fish, are easy to differentiate from Puffins.
  • Two Kittiwakes cliff nesting.
