Day 11 - Krafla
Andrea sees just how fast she can steam up her glasses. Nice hat. Is that Icelandic wool?
With no glasses to steam up, Bud works on being a dork. Thanks to the really big shoes, mission accomplished.
With all this heat, you'd think it would be warmer.
The mud pots are battle ship grey which by coincidence is the same shade as the sky this day.

A 60 Megawatt power plant is fed by several bore holes. It's noisy, smells bad and has no carbon footprint (tm).
Superheated water "bridges" the road giving new meaning to steam cleaning should anything go wrong.
