Lake Mývatn (Midge Lake...) and  vicinity

  • Looking across geothermal fields to Lake Mývatn, Iceland.
  • Lake Mývatn, know for it's waterfowl, had very few.
  • A massive lava flow stops just short of the church.
  • A fence that uses local building materials. The local church pokes above the lava flows.
